Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are dispensed for essential drugs taken on a regular basis. Patients are asked to hand in their re-order slip which is attached to their first repeat script giving at least 2 days notice before their medication is needed. This allows time for your prescription to be printed checked and signed. Alternatively patients can use the Repeat Prescription On-Line Services within the website.

You may then collect your prescription from the surgery or we will post this to you if you provide a SAE.

All local pharmacies provide a prescription collection service therefore please enquire at the pharmacy of your choice.

ACUTE PRESCRITIONS

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT REQUEST FOR ACUTE PRESCRIPTIONS WILL TAKE 48HOURS NOTICE TO PROCESS.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication are required to have an annual medication review  this will be completed by a doctor or practice nurse and any changes to medications would appear on your repeat prescription slip. Any patient that the doctor or nurse requires to see would be contacted at this time to make an appointment.
